On May 1, 2026, the Ministry of Education officially granted approval for Hebei Normal University and the University of Stirling, UK to jointly establish Stirling Digital Education of Hebei Normal University (Approval No.: MOE13UKA02DNR20262690N).

Responding to the national "AI + Education" strategy, the College fully leverages the educational strengths of both institutions, integrates Sino-British educational models with a focus on high-quality resources, and carries out joint training for talents in "future digital education".

By effectively integrating disciplines including mathematics, statistics, computer science and education, the College has built a cross-disciplinary collaborative education system featuring shared resources and complementary advantages. Focusing on the dual fields of "AI + Education", it has developed a complete curriculum framework ranging from basic technical training in data and intelligence to practical applications in educational technology.

The College scientifically introduces advanced educational concepts, core courses and outstanding faculty from the University of Stirling, drawing on the UK's cutting-edge experience in AI education, engineering education, digital transformation of education and industry-education integration. A project-driven teaching model is adopted to foster students' practical application skills, innovation awareness and entrepreneurial capabilities.

The College promotes in-depth resource sharing and joint platform construction to achieve mutual empowerment between the two universities. It adopts a "dual degree, dual student status" training model to build an intelligent, personalized and diversified immersive smart education environment, as well as a comprehensive, multi-level international talent training system.
